"
Autumn is the favorite season for many people... maybe you're one of them...

The theme is Autumn, with all its grand colors. There are lotsa leaves and pumpkins... and there are plenty of "blenders" to balance out the primary focal fabrics. These are my best quilts yet... you always get better at a thing the more you do it... Making quilts is like making pies... You ruin a few before you get the knack.

They are all cotton, and the patchworking on them is just about perfect. The quilting (the threads that hold the "sandwich" together) is very good also. This has all been done by me and my sewing machine."

Pretty isn't it ? If you'd like to see more photos of this listing click HERE... or to visit lovelythings studio HERE.

  1. Goodness, another gorgeous piece. You really have a talent.

I had to research your suggestion of using arnica (in reference to my fall in my blog post the other day). I had never heard of it before so thank you for introducing me to it. Do you happen to know anything about rosehips? I found a good patch of them on the wild rose plants in our woods and would like to harvest them. I've read to harvest after the first frost, but I don't know much beyond that.

Thanks for stopping by the blog, it's been a pleasure getting to "know you".
