ArtFire Collection: Green, Green Grass of Home by Jewelrybyjane29

In my neck of the woods... which is mountain range in the desert belt of California, summer is the season of gold & golden sunsets reflected on the dry wild grasses. Our summers are typically hot & dry starting in May/June all the way through October/November. So... that's no rain for about 5-6 months of the year.

Verdant green grass is something that I can look forward to when the rains begin here... but in the meantime... I get to enjoy GREEN, GREEN GRASS OF HOME: an ArtFire Collection curated by Jewelrybyjane29.

GREEN, GREEN GRASS OF HOME
I love green ! There is something so refreshing about most shades of this color... usually so alive and melodic. Well... at least to this mountain girl :) Click HERE to check out this Collection of green goodies that may make you envious for some of these beautiful products.

Thank you, I was doubly blessed by having two items from Brizel Handcrafts featured... one of which was a mint green Satin Hip Button Belt and then one of my Silk Tapestry Hip Pouches as well...

"Paisley Green, a bohemian style ooak wearable fiber art belt bag... a unique Silk Tapestry Hip Pouch perfect for special occasions & events !

This groovy multicolored waist purse features handcrafted multicolored silk sari yarn with cobalt blue, red, green, & orange accents and contoured with apple green banana silk yarn. It is carefully embellished with a pierced paisley motif vintage button, which secures the closure flap and it is synthesized on a hand woven apple green Guatemalan cotton sash."

Brizel Handcrafts sells apple wood Brigid Crosses & delicious OOAK special occasion items: Silk Tapestry Hip & Table Pouches, Table Rugs, Boxes & Hearts, as well as satin Hip Button Belts, and tagua nut jewelry. Click HERE to visit my studio on ArtFire.com !

My curator-du-jour, Jane, has been making jewelry for about seven years now... "While living in a gold area of the Mojave Desert my husband took up gold prospecting. So that I wouldn't be a prospectors widow I decided in going along with him. From my first trip out I started picking up interesting rocks and bringing them home.

On a trip to Laughlin Nevada we came upon a rock and jewelry show and a lady that was teaching wire wrapping... Creating Jewelry is a learning experience everyday but I truly enjoy finding that special rock and turning it into a piece of jewelry or creating something special. I find no greater joy then to make something with my hands that the wearer loves."

Here is a beautiful green spiral necklace that Jane featured in the GREEN, GREEN GRASS OF HOME Collection...

"Everyone will be green with envy when you wear this Triple Spiral Necklace. It is made using Preciosa Rainbow Opaque seed beads, Green Fiber Optic Cats eye beads and 8/0 Dyna-Mites Ceylon Green Beads. It measures a full 18 1/2 inches and has a beaded toggle and loop closure."

Jane is "a Self Representing Artist SRAJD which means I make and sell all my own work. Your satisfaction is what I strive for. This is an original Jewelry by Jane 29 design."
