After Rocky Fire… Dome Workshop
Rocky Fire
burned right close
to the dome workshop.
You can see that
the firefighter crew
created a fire break.
The orange red
'stuff' on the
vinyl cover and roof
is the fire retardant
that gets dropped
or sprayed to
protect prime areas
and structures.
It will be a task
to clean and prep
for paintwork.
Regretably
we have discovered
some small holes
in the vinyl cover.
I believe these can
be fixed with
patches and paint.

Huge clean-up job before another huge repair and paint job. Good luck, sweetie. I hope you can patch the dome cover easily enough.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I really dont feel up to any of it but perhaps if i baby step it, I'll be able to manage it… Not sure with what money though.
DeleteYikes! I hope that stuff comes off and the holes can be easily patched. Duct tape comes in white or maybe blue star-shaped patches?
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of star shaped patches for the inside :)
ReplyDeleteThe outside patch color wont matter since it will all get painted with the elastomeric paint. I'll use the same vinyl material for patching. hopefully the crown is okay because i have no idea how to get to it.
