Lunar Owl is an exquisite fiber arts container featuring hand dyed yarns... a silk sari yarn in the darkest midnight blue ever paired with a violet purple cotton hemp yarn. It has a lid of its own which is embellished with a vintage silver finding of an owl on a moon.
Owl is deliriously happy to be sitting on the moon tonight... she fits just right on her crescent horn and she has an incredible view. In this moment, she is queen of the moonlight ! Owl teaches us to gain wisdom through silent musings and heightening our perceptions through contemplating the within. Can you hear your inner voice calling ? hoo hoo who are you ?
This magical Silk Tapestry Art Box measures approx: 2 1/8" in diameter x 1 3/4" high with an interior cavity of 1 1/8" in diameter x 1 3/8" high. Its raw silk weight is roughly .6 oz (18 g).
